Petitioner: "No Action Has Been Taken"
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] A case has occurred where three teenage boys and girls sexually abused their peers, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
On the 7th, Jeonju Wansan Police Station announced that they are investigating A (15-year-old girl) and B (13-year-old boy) on charges including joint assault. The whereabouts of C (15-year-old girl), who committed the crime together, are also being tracked.
According to the police, they reportedly repeatedly beat D (13-year-old girl), sexually abused her by stripping her clothes, and filmed the incident. The police are checking for signs of video distribution.
Earlier, the case was brought to public attention through the Blue House National Petition Board, sparking outrage among netizens.
A petitioner, who introduced themselves as an acquaintance of the victim student, posted a message titled "Please help a still young girl" on the 4th.
The petitioner claimed, "Students born in 2005, who are still young, are bullying the victim," and added, "Despite reporting sexual video distribution, assault, and verbal abuse, no action has been taken."

They continued, "These kinds of incidents are happening a lot these days, but I never imagined such a thing would happen to someone close to me," and pleaded, "Please help. The victim desperately wants and needs help." As of 3:30 PM on the 7th, the petition had received over 29,000 signatures.
