Jungjingong Receives 'National Balanced Development Award'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 7th that it received the National Balanced Development Award at the '16th Anniversary Ceremony of the Declaration of National Balanced Development.'
The ceremony was held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Yeouido, Seoul, with about 90 attendees including government ministers, provincial governors, and businesspeople. The event was hosted by the Presidential Committee on Balanced National Development, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, and the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation.
The Small and Medium Business Corporation was recognized for its excellent achievements in discovering new growth engines and creating quality jobs in the regions, including the Jeonbuk Gunsan-type Jobs, the Next Unicorn Project (Gangwon), and the nationwide expansion of the Youth Startup Academy, receiving the National Balanced Development Award.
