Ziccut, 2nd Online-Exclusive Collection Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] G-cut, Shinsegae International's own women's clothing brand, announced on the 7th that it will launch the second line of its online collection, which was first introduced at the end of March.
The first online-exclusive collection of G-cut, sold on SI Village and W Concept, had a high sales rate, with more than half of the 26 products going into reproduction within two weeks of release. In the case of dresses, online-exclusive products accounted for 48% of the total G-cut dress sales, showing great popularity.
G-cut attributed the high popularity of online-exclusive products to the increase in contactless consumption and a sales strategy targeting women in their 20s and 30s. By pricing the products 30-50% lower than existing items to lower the entry barrier and analyzing and applying designs mainly purchased by customers in their 20s, they captured the hearts of young customers.
The second collection was released with a total of 13 types of products suitable for early to midsummer wear. It introduced practical setup items that can be worn separately or together, including dresses, which received the best response in the first collection, as well as blouses, T-shirts, skirts, and pants.
The collection expanded the range of choices with various styles, from products comfortable enough for daily looks in everyday life to designs showing G-cut's unique romantic look. It also features natural colors and cool materials such as linen to increase usability in summer.
In particular, the dresses applied popular trend elements such as square-shaped necklines and slit details at the waist, emphasizing a feminine feel with subtle flower patterns. Additionally, the retro-inspired dot pattern blouse and long skirt setup set can be styled like a dress when worn together, or matched with T-shirts or denim to complete various styles.
The second online-exclusive line of G-cut will be sold through more diverse online channels, including SI Village, W Concept, Musinsa, and SSG.COM.
