Mayor Yujinseop Takes Active Steps for Citizen-Impressing Friendly Administration
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 6th that it is making every effort to cultivate a proactive administrative mindset that impresses citizens, aiming to implement citizen-centered open civil complaint administration.
The city established a comprehensive plan for courteous administration this year and conducts monthly courtesy training for employees to improve the friendliness of civil complaint services.
In celebration of Family Month, Mayor Yoo Jin-seop personally took part in this month's training.
Mayor Yoo conducted courtesy training for about 50 people, including employees of the General Civil Complaints Division, tax, architecture, transportation departments, and dispatched employees from the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation.
The training discussed the proper attitude toward handling civil complaints and shared various examples of courteous and discourteous behavior to provide an opportunity to deliver civil complaint administrative services that residents can feel.
In particular, the city explained that the training focused on various real-life cases, such as courteous expressions during telephone complaint handling, which received great responses.
Mayor Yoo emphasized the importance of courteous administration toward complainants and stressed cultivating a mindset for practical and perceptible improvement in courtesy.
He also urged employees to continuously self-assess and develop themselves regarding courtesy to meet citizens' expectations and strive to provide the best civil complaint services.
