Sahakyeongeum Supports COVID-19 Prevention Supplies to Children's Centers in Sanpo Area, Jeonnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The women’s group of the Private School Teachers’ Pension Service, ‘Cheongahoe,’ announced on the 6th that on the 29th of last month, they delivered quarantine supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers, as well as snacks, to the Sanpo area children’s center in Jeonnam, which has been struggling with childcare due to the recent spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Sanpo area children’s center provides care support for about 25 children, and about one-third of the enrolled children come from vulnerable groups such as multicultural families. A representative of the Sanpo area children’s center said, “We were struggling due to a lack of budget for purchasing quarantine supplies, so we are grateful for the help from the Private School Teachers’ Pension Service.”
