This year's spring afforestation project invested 1 billion won to plant 393,000 trees including Baekhap, Pine, and Larch on 174 hectares of forest area early last month.
In particular, efforts were focused on establishing a foundation for short-term income improvement for beekeeping farms with 10 hectares of melliferous tree planting and 34 hectares of fine dust reduction afforestation, as well as maximizing air purification in urban nearby forest areas.
