Aekyung Industrial Supports Hygiene Products for Didim Seed Bank Scholarship Students
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Aekyung Industrial Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon-kyu Lee) announced on the 6th that it will provide hygiene product sets for the ‘Didim Seed Savings Account’ scholarship students sponsored by Aekyung Industrial in celebration of Family Month.
Aekyung Industrial will provide 200 hygiene product sets worth approximately 10 million KRW, including masks, hand sanitizers, and shampoo, to 200 children from low-income households who are Didim Seed Savings Account scholarship students.
Since 2018, Aekyung Industrial has signed a business agreement with Hope Sharing People and started sponsoring the Didim Seed Savings Account for children from low-income households. This support was made to assist Didim Seed Savings Account scholarship students who are facing difficulties in hygiene management due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Didim Seed Savings Account is an asset-building support program that helps low-income children grow into prepared members of society when they enter the workforce. When a guardian or sponsor of a low-income child saves a fixed amount monthly, the local government matches the amount 1:1 with government matching funds, up to 40,000 KRW per month.
