Convenience Store CU Signs Delivery Service Contract
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 6th that it has signed a delivery agency contract with convenience store CU and will provide delivery services. Barogo will start delivery services with about 190 directly operated and franchised stores in the Chungcheong and Jeolla regions of CU and plans to expand nationwide in May.
The CU convenience store delivery service can be used through the delivery order application (app) "Yogiyo." Delivery is available for menus that can satisfy meals such as sandwiches, hamburgers, and lunch boxes, as well as desserts like washed apples and macarons, and even snacks for drinking alone.

A Barogo official said, "As contactless consumption has surged recently, convenience store deliveries are also increasing," adding, "As interest in convenience store delivery has grown, we will provide services that satisfy consumers using the convenience store delivery service."
