'You Quiz' Pyo Chang-won: "My decision not to run made my family smile with joy"
Democratic Party lawmaker Pyo Chang-won appeared on the 'You Quiz' show and explained cases he had handled in the past.

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] Representative Cho Chang-won of the Democratic Party of Korea shared an update after announcing he would not run in the 21st general election. He also spoke about the Lee Chun-jae serial murder case.
On the 29th, tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" aired a special episode titled "I Want to Know That," featuring forensic scientist Yoo Sung-ho, criminal psychologist Professor Park Ji-sun, and former Representative Cho Chang-won.
During the broadcast, Representative Cho shared his recent status in a conversation with Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho. Regarding his reason for not running, he said, "It is about responsibility and reflection. The National Assembly is supposed to be the people's errand runner. We should make life better for them, but the 20th National Assembly had many boycotts," expressing his regret.
When asked how he felt after deciding not to run, he replied, "My family is happy." He added, "Laughter has blossomed."
He also mentioned "I Want to Know That," saying, "I first appeared on the show in the 2000s," and added, "'I Want to Know That' gave me my broadcasting debut."
Regarding the Lee Chun-jae serial murder case, he said, "I served as a platoon leader of the Hwaseong regional task force in the 1990s," and shared, "The image of the 9th case, the victims' appearances, and their wounds remain with me forever."

Representative Cho stated, "At that time, technology such as DNA storage was lacking, but the investigators kept the evidence for 30 years. That shows how desperate they must have been."
