Gyeonggi-do Disaster Basic Income Online Application Ends This Month... On-site Application Until End of July
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will close the online application for the 'Disaster Basic Income,' which provides 100,000 KRW per person to Gyeonggi residents, on the 30th of this month. However, on-site applications will continue until the end of July.
The online application, which started on the 9th, is for receiving the Gyeonggi Province Disaster Basic Income through the existing Gyeonggi local currency card or credit card.
Although there were delays in processing due to a surge of users at the beginning of the application period, many residents have now completed their applications, and all processes are proceeding smoothly.
Residents who have not yet applied can visit the Gyeonggi Province Disaster Basic Income website (https://basicincome.gg.go.kr) via PC or mobile by the 30th, complete the identity verification process, and apply.
It takes about 3 to 5 days after application to receive a usage approval message from the card company, after which the funds can be used.
Even after the online application ends, on-site applications will continue until the end of July.
On-site applications are available at 545 Eup, Myeon, and Dong administrative welfare centers in 31 cities and counties within the province, 216 NongHyup branches, and 725 regional agricultural cooperative branches.
