Gangnam-gu Recruits Youth Part-Time Workers for Proactive COVID-19 Employment Measures
Over 500 Public Job Positions for Multi-Facility Fever Checks Until May 1... 6 Hours a Day, 1.3 Million KRW per Month Payment
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting about 500 young people for the 'Youth Part-time Jobs' program by May 1st, in line with the government's proactive employment policy.
Participants in this public job program 'Youth Part-time Jobs' will perform administrative tasks related to fever checks at multi-use facilities and emergency disaster support from May 11th to July 10th to help overcome COVID-19.
The wage is 52,000 KRW for 6 hours per day. Including weekly holiday pay, monthly leave allowance, and snack expenses, participants can receive about 1.3 million KRW per month.
Applicants must be Seoul citizens aged 18 to 39, with priority given to Gangnam-gu residents. However, recipients of livelihood benefits under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act and unemployment benefits are excluded.
