Family Stay-at-Home Part 2... Our Private Any-Party Challenge
Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center Hosts 'Amu Party Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) will hold the second home-stay event, "Uri-kki-ri Amu Party Challenge," to raise awareness of the relaxed 'social distancing' during the upcoming May holidays and encourage active participation.
The "Amu Party Challenge" is a social distancing practice program that distributes various DIY (do-it-yourself) party kits to each household for families to enjoy together, and provides souvenirs to residents who send certification photos after holding a party in their own unique way.
The "DIY Party Kit" being distributed this time is composed of nine types of play items such as candy necklaces, sand play, cupcakes, and healing foot packs, allowing families to celebrate special family occasions during May, the month of family, including Children's Day, Parents' Day, and Family Love Day.
The district will accept applications from the first 500 households on a first-come, first-served basis starting April 28. Residents who wish to participate can apply online through the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center website (https://geumchfc.familynet.or.kr).
The party kits will be distributed in a "Walking-Thru" format at the pickup zone in front of the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center from 1 PM on April 28, with 30 households per time slot.
In March, the district held the first home-stay event, "Amu Nori Challenge," to support families actively practicing social distancing campaigns, which received great responses from residents.

Jeon Jongmi, director of the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center, said, "We hope this program will be a small seed of happiness for many families who have been exhausted from participating in the COVID-19 social distancing campaign for a long time," and added, "We will continue to develop various programs that families can enjoy together and contribute to creating a family-friendly culture in Geumcheon-gu."
