[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is recruiting and operating the ‘Youth Information Security Specialist Training Program’ to support employment for local youth.
This program focuses on employment support and includes ▲ Information Security Jobs (Network, Server Systems, Security (Web, Internet, Network)) ▲ Employment Camp (Image, Interview, Document Consulting, Practical Skills, On-site Interviews) ▲ Practical Expert Mentor System (1:5 mentoring by experts) ▲ Employment Support (discovering related field employers and 100% connection).
The recruitment target is youth aged 19 to 34, with a total of 25 people to be selected, and the education fee is completely free.
Applications can be submitted through the Jungnang-gu Office website → Citizen Participation → Internet Application (http://www.jungnang.go.kr).
After the training program, the district will actively support follow-up management such as job placement and connection through educational institutions and the Job Plus Center within Jungnang-gu.
Additionally, with the establishment of the Sinnae Knowledge Industry Center and Jungnang Startup Incubation Center, local job creation is expected, and the goal is to train local youth as specialists and connect them to employment.
The district plans to conduct the training at Daewoo Vocational Competency Development Institute (near Sangbong Station) for six months from May to October. For more details, contact the Job Creation Division Youth Support Team at the district office (☎2094-2273).
The ‘Youth Information Security Specialist Training Program’ achieved a 41% employment rate last year and has taken the lead in solving youth issues since the enactment of the Youth Basic Ordinance in 2018, including forming a youth network and launching the Youth Policy Committee.
