British International Student Tests Positive for COVID-19 in Nonsan Two Weeks After Arrival
[Asia Economy (Nonsan) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] One British international student was diagnosed with COVID-19 after testing in Nonsan 14 days after entering the country.
According to Chungnam Province on the 27th, the day before, A (16, Chungnam #142) tested positive for COVID-19 at the Nonsan City Public Health Center (screening clinic) and was hospitalized at Cheonan Medical Center.
After returning to Korea on the 12th with her family (mother and younger sister), A quarantined herself at home in Nonsan for 14 days, and on the 25th, one day before the end of her quarantine, she was tested for COVID-19 and received a positive result the next day.
It is reported that A showed no symptoms related to COVID-19 until she was diagnosed positive.
A’s mother and younger sister, who quarantined with her, have currently tested negative.
