WEMAKEPRICE Celebrates 1st Anniversary of Delivery App 'WEMAKEPRICE O'... Transaction Volume Grows 25 Times
41x Increase in Partner Stores and 11x Increase in Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wemakeprice announced on the 27th that its delivery application (app) 'Wemakeprice O' has seen its transaction volume grow 25 times compared to the first month since its launch one year ago. The number of partner stores has also increased more than 41 times.
The number of partner stores on Wemakeprice O currently reaches around 20,000. In addition to local neighborhood shops, major franchises such as Kyochon Chicken, Goobne Chicken, KFC, and 7th Street Pizza have steadily increased their presence. The service area, which initially started in Gangnam and Seocho, has now expanded nationwide. Wemakeprice explained that by adding delivery services to the existing pickup and local services, both partner stores and users have increased.
The rapid increase in the number of partner stores is analyzed as the effect of a win-win policy aimed at reducing the burden on self-employed business owners. In December last year, Wemakeprice O launched the 'Kind Delivery Wemakeprice O!' campaign, declaring 'brokerage fees frozen for 2 years' and 'zero advertising and entry fees.' For two months from March to April, they are running a promotion that pays brokerage fees back to ordering customers as payback points to support self-employed business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

As the number of partner stores increased, allowing customers to order a wider variety of menus, the number of users naturally grew as well. Customer benefits were also enhanced through rewards and coupon distributions. As a result, the number of delivery order customers on Wemakeprice O recently increased 11 times compared to the launch period. The average monthly payment amount per customer rose by 21%. Ha Jae-wook, head of Wemakeprice O2O, said, "Wemakeprice O's policy prioritizing coexistence over short-term profits has led to good results," adding, "We will continue to strive to establish ourselves as a delivery app that can achieve a win-win with partners and customers."
