BGF Retail Opens Recruitment for 1st Generation of ‘SsiJunSaeng’... Serving as CU Informants
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] BGF Retail, the operator of convenience store CU, announced on the 27th that it is recruiting the first generation of ‘Sijunsaeng’.
Sijunsaeng is an abbreviation for ‘CU Staff Job Seekers’ and targets job seekers preparing for employment in the second half of this year among the excellent staff currently working at CU. Those selected as Sijunsaeng will perform the role of CU Alimi, sharing their own store management know-how and introducing new products of the week.
Eligibility requirements are ▲ expected to graduate in February 2021 or already graduated ▲ GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.5 scale) ▲ personal SNS operator ▲ completed military service or exempted ▲ able to travel abroad, with no separate certification criteria.
Applications for Sijunsaeng will be accepted from the 27th of this month until the 15th of next month. To apply, submit a self-introduction letter in the designated format, staff career confirmation application, employment contract, consent form for personal information processing, and salary proof documents via email to the contact person announced on the official CU blog.
Those selected as Sijunsaeng will be exempted from the document screening process when applying for the sales management position in BGF Retail’s 2020 second half new employee and winter recruitment internship. In addition, outstanding participants will receive additional points during interviews.
In August, when the Sijunsaeng activities conclude, participants will have the opportunity to join BGF Retail employment-related programs such as interviews with current employees and visits to interview venues.
