[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yoo Seong-hoon) is operating a daily quarantine program called "COVID-19 Clean Day" to prevent COVID-19 in the local community and to overcome the infectious disease early.
First, on the 28th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., about 100 people including district employees, resident voluntary quarantine teams, Geumcheon-gu Facilities Management Corporation, and the Cultural Foundation will participate in a simultaneous disinfection for COVID-19 Clean Day.
On this day, the quarantine teams will conduct large-scale disinfection activities at traditional markets, subway stations, large shopping centers in Gasan-dong, the Anyangcheon riverside, parks, and other locations.
The district plans to designate the 19th of every month as "COVID-19 Clean Day" until the COVID-19 situation ends, continuing focused quarantine activities with joint participation from both public and private sectors.
To this end, the district will deploy staff from each department responsible for multi-use facilities, garages, traditional markets, parks, subway stations, etc., to quarantine activities, and will encourage participation from resident voluntary quarantine teams, facility managers, traditional market merchant associations, and local residents.
