Gyeonggi Office of Education Provides Information on 1,900 Dream Schools via Mobile App
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is providing a map of Gyeonggi Dream Schools through the mobile application I’m School to make it easier to find information on about 1,900 Dream Schools in the province.
I’m School is a mobile application that provides school information such as home communications and school meals for free. By accessing it and clicking the Dream School tab, users can see the status of Dream Schools by region at a glance.
Additionally, by selecting the desired Dream School, users can check detailed information such as the recruitment period and number of students, education period and content, and how the curriculum is operated.
Han Gwan-heum, Director of the Village Education Community Policy Division at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, said, “Utilizing the Gyeonggi Dream School map linked with I’m School will help expand the choice of Dream Schools for students and parents,” adding, “The Office of Education will continue to promote Gyeonggi Dream Schools to provide more opportunities for students to challenge themselves toward their dreams.”
This year, Gyeonggi Dream Schools selected a total of 1,919 schools across 11 thematic areas, reflecting the results of a dream survey conducted on youth who participated last year, and have been recruiting youth who wish to participate since the 1st of this month.
