Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Center to Operate Real-Time Online Programs Related to the 4th Industrial Revolution from May... Coding, VR, AI Courses Available, Registration Opens on Website from the 27th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center will operate a real-time online program starting in May that allows participants to receive education related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as coding and artificial intelligence, through online platforms.
Technologies related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, which previously could only be seen and heard by visiting the center, can now be easily accessed from home online.
This program will be offered as a real-time interactive class using an online lecture platform. In particular, not only teachers but also students can share their screens, enabling active communication and self-directed learning. Additionally, a replay function will be provided after the class for review and feedback.
The program includes ▲ Scratch coding course ▲ VR/AR creator course ▲ Artificial Intelligence (AI) course ▲ 3D printer course, each conducted over 8 sessions. It will initially be offered as an after-school program for students and later expanded to the general public.
Applications are open from April 27 to May 8 via the Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center website (http://sdfic.co.kr), and the program will run from May 11 until the center’s closure is lifted.
After reopening, the program plans to switch to offline classes in consultation with the students while providing the same curriculum.
