The U.S.-based North Korea specialist media 38 North reported on the 25th (local time) through analysis of commercial satellite images that this train is stopped at a station located near a resort facility in Wonsan.
38 North stated, "The presence of the train does not prove the whereabouts of the North Korean leader or suggest anything about his health," but mentioned that it could indicate the possibility that Chairman Kim is staying on North Korea's east coast.
This train was not visible in satellite images taken on the 15th but was observed in photos taken on the 21st and 23rd.
The resort facilities in Wonsan include nine guesthouses and one entertainment center, and in the center, there is a large building constructed after Chairman Kim took office. There is also a harbor and a shooting range, as well as a small covered pier presumed to be for docking large yachts.
Chairman Kim has not been seen since presiding over a Workers' Party Political Bureau meeting held in Pyongyang on the 11th. He also did not appear at the Day of the Sun event on the 15th, which is the birthday of his grandfather, former President Kim Il-sung, drawing attention to his whereabouts. Chairman Kim also did not appear on the 25th, the founding day of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
Amid the uncertainty surrounding Chairman Kim's whereabouts, conflicting reports have emerged about whether he underwent cardiovascular surgery and whether his condition is critical. A day earlier, foreign media reported that the Chinese Communist Party sent a delegation to North Korea, including members willing to advise Chairman Kim. The deputy director of Hong Kong's HKSTV tweeted that he heard from a reliable source that Chairman Kim had died.

On the other hand, the South Korean government maintains the position that there are no special changes in Chairman Kim's personal status. U.S. President Donald Trump previously stated that he did not know much about Chairman Kim's condition but on the 23rd said, "Reports that Chairman Kim's condition is critical are not accurate."
