Joo Myung-hyun, Chairman of the Private School Teachers' Pension, Participates in COVID-19 Overcoming Hope Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Ju Myung-hyun, Chairman of the Private School Teachers' Pension Service, participated in the "Hope Campaign Relay to Overcome COVID-19" on the 24th, delivering a message of hope for those facing difficult situations.
The Hope Campaign Relay involves writing supportive phrases by hand for government officials struggling with COVID-19, medical staff fighting on the front lines, and self-employed individuals suffering from the domestic economic downturn, then posting them online on social network services (SNS) and nominating the next participant.
Chairman Ju took over the Hope Campaign Relay from Park Sang-gyu, President of Chung-Ang University, and joined the campaign.
The Private School Teachers' Pension Service has supported the local community economy affected by COVID-19 by helping flower farms, promoting the consumption of agricultural products from affected farms, continuously purchasing local gift certificates, voluntarily raising funds among employees, and reducing building rents for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.
