According to the Air Force on the 24th, this year's Human Rights Week, marking the second time following last year, is organized with programs that allow soldiers to recognize the importance of the rule of law and develop sensitivity to human rights.
First, the "Dormitory Constitution Making Contest" is being held, with outstanding works from each unit on display. The contest was organized to provide soldiers living collectively with time to reflect on the values of the rule of law and democracy by autonomously establishing and practicing regulations to be observed within the dormitory. Since last month, submissions and evaluations have been conducted, selecting 16 outstanding works out of 96 entries, which are now being exhibited on a unit-by-unit basis.
Additionally, considering the restrictions on group education due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, "Human Rights Education Video Viewing" and "Constitution and Human Rights Quiz Contest" are being conducted through the intranet. The Legal Office has prepared informative videos and quizzes to encourage soldiers' participation, and soldiers freely share their thoughts on human rights with their comrades by writing comments after watching the videos.
