Gangnam-gu 'Disability Day Seems to Have Come' Online Contest
Painting, Writing, Web Illustration, Photography, and Video Fields ... Submit by Email or Mail by May 31
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) is holding the "Disability Day Has Come, It Seems Like Spring" contest until May 31 in celebration of Disability Week.
This contest, hosted online by the Gangnam Disabled Welfare Center, aims to increase understanding of disabilities and create a "Dignified Gangnam" that embraces, cares for, and respects others. The contest categories include five fields: drawing, writing, web illustration, photography, and video.
The contest themes are ▲ experiences of activities with people with disabilities ▲ efforts to eliminate prejudice against disabilities, and participants are free to create works based on these themes. Anyone interested can participate.
Applicants can download the application form from the welfare center’s website (gangnam.go.kr/office/activeart) and submit it via email or postal mail.

A total of 20 winners will be selected through judging: △ 1 Grand Prize winner △ 3 Excellence Award winners △ 6 Encouragement Award winners △ 10 Honorable Mentions. The winning works will be exhibited online.
