KOSPI Closes Recovering 1910 Level... Institutions Net Buy 100 Billion KRW

On this day, the KOSPI closed at 1914.73, up 18.58 points (0.98%) from the previous session.
The KOSPI opened at 1907.45, up 11.30 points (0.60%) from the previous trading day, maintaining a strong trend.
In the securities market, institutions net purchased 99.6 billion KRW. On the other hand, individuals and foreigners net sold 15.8 billion KRW and 105.4 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, pharmaceuticals (1.77%), chemicals (3.47%), and electric and gas utilities (3.23%) rose, while non-metallic minerals (1.56%) and construction (1.16%) declined.
Among the top market capitalization companies, Samsung Biologics (3.62%), NAVER (4.40%), LG Chem (1.69%), and LG Household & Health Care (8%) rose, whereas SK Hynix (1.55%) and Hyundai Motor (0.22%) fell.
The KOSDAQ also closed at 643.79, up 8.63 points (1.36%) compared to the previous trading day.
The KOSDAQ started at 640.13, up 4.97 points (0.78%) from the previous session, and expanded its gains.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals and institutions net purchased 46.5 billion KRW and 19.1 billion KRW, respectively, while foreigners net sold 33.1 billion KRW.
By industry, internet (5.75%), information devices (3.98%), and food & tobacco (2.95%) rose, while paper & wood (1.52%) declined.
