[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) has launched an inspection of the management status of building-attached parking lots to alleviate parking difficulties.
According to Nam-gu on the 23rd, inspections are being conducted on 35 building-attached parking lots with 20 or more parking spaces, among those approved for use between 2015 and 2018.
The inspection will continue until the 29th.
The inspection areas include unauthorized expansion and change of use of building-attached parking lots, and whether the attached parking lots are being properly maintained.
Nam-gu plans to order restoration to the original state for illegal acts such as using the attached parking lots for other purposes or unauthorized expansion, in violation of the Building Act and the Parking Lot Act, through on-site inspections.
In addition, if correction orders or restoration guidelines are not followed, administrative measures such as imposing enforcement fines will be taken.
