The 'Fine Dust Reduction Autonomous District Specialized Project' is a program conducted by Seoul City to discover ideas related to fine dust reduction in autonomous districts and support the commercialization of the discovered ideas.
The district will invest a total project cost of 230 million KRW, including the budget received from the contest, to install 'fine dust traffic lights (electronic display boards)' at locations such as △park entrances and △library entrances within the area. On-site surveys for installation locations will begin this month, and installation is planned to be completed by the end of this year.
Through the 'fine dust traffic lights (electronic display boards),' the district plans to broadcast real-time fine dust concentration and air quality information provided by the Ministry of Environment, helping residents to quickly and easily check air quality information in their daily lives.
