According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency and the Fire and Disaster Headquarters, at 9:34 a.m. on the 21st, at the 10th floor of the SK View apartment construction site in Oncheon-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, a concrete placing machine being lifted to the upper floors suddenly fell to the ground, crushing four workers who were installing electrical wiring.
The 119 rescue team arrived and rescued all four workers after about an hour and 30 minutes, transporting them to the hospital. However, Mr. A (53), who was trapped under the placing machine, was unconscious when rescued and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation but died.
The other three sustained injuries to their heads and shoulders and are receiving treatment, but their lives are not in danger.
