Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station "Please Complete Fire Safety Training Within the Period"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) is actively promoting cyber fire safety education in response to the temporary suspension of group training sessions at multi-use facilities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
According to Gwangsan Fire Station on the 21st, under the "Special Act on the Safety Management of Multi-use Facilities," business owners and employees of multi-use facilities must complete fire safety education within the legally mandated period to enhance their sense of responsibility for voluntary safety management and improve their initial response capabilities in case of fire.
Previously, the education was conducted either through group training sessions held by the fire station or cyber education provided by the Korea Fire Safety Institute. However, recently, to prevent COVID-19 infection, group training sessions are not being held, and cyber education is being encouraged.
To complete the cyber education, participants can access the Korea Fire Safety Institute's website, select the relevant course, and take the training online.
