Fire at Gunpo Logistics Center in Gyeonggi... Flames Spread Due to Strong Winds, 'Response Level 3' Issued
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Fire Agency announced on the morning of the 21st that a fire broke out at the Gunpo Logistics Center in Bugok-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, and that 64 fire trucks and 192 firefighters are currently mobilized to extinguish the fire.
The fire is presumed to have started at the external garbage yard of the logistics center, but due to strong winds, the flames have spread inside the logistics center as well.
The Fire Agency stated, "We have deployed the Rapid Response Team and the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters, and issued a Level 3 response around 11:18 AM," adding, "So far, there have been no casualties reported."
