President Moon and the ruling party's election leadership met that day to commend their efforts in the 21st general election. The Democratic Party secured 180 seats, including 163 constituency seats and 17 proportional representation seats (together with the Together Citizens' Party). They achieved a stable majority not only in the National Assembly plenary session but also across all standing committees, securing a strong position for passing legislation.
