CJ CheilJedang Expands 'ReturnUp' Lineup, a Health Functional Food Brand, Offering Customized Health Solutions
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] CJ CheilJedang announced on the 21st that it is expanding the lineup of its health functional food specialty brand 'Return Up' and providing customized health solutions for each life transition stage.
'Return Up' is a 'Smart Aging (wise aging)' brand launched by CJ CheilJedang in August last year. Unlike the health functional food market, which is composed mainly of gender-focused products, it has dualized product groups by age and function for those over 40.
The newly released products focus on eye health, vascular health, and diet. The existing eye health brand 'Icyan' has been divided and released for those over 40 and over 60. There is 'Return Up Icyan Lutein Zeaxanthin 40+' for initial intensive care and 'Return Up Icyan Lutein + Astaxanthin 60+' focusing on aging management.
The vascular health products are divided into 'Return Up Cholesterol Care' and 'Return Up Blood Circulation Care,' considering that health indicators related to blood vessels, including cholesterol, may worsen from the 40s, when people first experience life transitions. Additionally, the Fatdown brand products have been renewed as 'Return Up Fatdown' to strengthen the diet product line. It is divided into exercise type, dietary type, and daily type according to consumer lifestyles, and plant-based estrogen has been added for the main consumer group, women.
CJ CheilJedang has appointed actress Sung Yuri, formerly of Fin.K.L, as the model in line with the expansion of the 'Return Up' lineup. Sung Yuri's young and healthy image is expected to create synergy with the 'Smart Aging' brand 'Return Up.' Through the campaign 'My Health Turning Point, Promise Return Up,' Sung Yuri will introduce customized health management methods for each life transition stage emphasized by the 'Return Up' brand.
To commemorate the launch of the new products and advertisement, an online special exhibition will be held. CJ CheilJedang will conduct a giveaway and exclusive discount event for 'Return Up' product purchasers at CJ The Market and CJ Mall until the 26th of this month. 'Return Up' products can be purchased at up to 60% discounted prices, and experience kits of Return Up products will be provided as prizes.
