Until now, the KBO League had only held intra-team scrimmages due to the uncertainty of the opening schedule caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, as the KBO recently prepared to open the regular season in early May, inter-team practice games with four games per team have been confirmed until the 27th. A Wavve official stated, "These practice games will be held without spectators to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, so professional baseball fans' attention will be more focused on online services than usual."
