Seocho-gu Opens 'Chaineun Academy' Humanities Lectures to Attend from Home

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) is conducting the 'Differentiated Academy' online lecture for residents exhausted by COVID-19.
Co-hosted by Seocho-gu and Seocho Cultural Center, the humanities lecture 'Differentiated Academy,' which debuted last year, featured a lineup of experts from various fields such as arts, economy, and history, drawing great interest from residents.
Seocho-gu had suspended lectures since February to participate in the high-intensity 'social distancing' measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but will reopen the lectures online starting from the 22nd.
This lecture will be delivered by conductor Hee-tae Seo, the real-life model and artistic director of Kang Mae, the main character of the 2009 MBC drama 'Beethoven Virus,' commemorating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth. He will present the story of 'Human Beethoven'?his life and music?in an easy and engaging humanities perspective.
The 'Human Beethoven' humanities lecture will be broadcast in two parts: Part 1 on the 22nd and Part 2 on the 24th, with each broadcast airing three times at 7 a.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m.
