Dongshin University Decides Entire First Semester of Theoretical Courses to be 'Non-Face-to-Face Classes'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University has decided to extend online non-face-to-face lectures, originally scheduled until the 25th, only for theoretical subjects until the end of the first semester.
According to Dongshin University on the 20th, a meeting of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Headquarters was held on the day, and it was decided to replace all first-semester classes of theoretical subjects with online lectures.
Accordingly, out of a total of 1,465 courses, 235 theoretical liberal arts courses, 592 major courses, totaling 827 courses (56.5%) will be conducted as non-face-to-face classes such as video or real-time video lectures until the end of the first semester.
For theory + practice courses (386 courses), theoretical classes will be conducted non-face-to-face until the end of the first semester, and practical classes will be conducted face-to-face starting from the 11th of next month.
Laboratory practice courses (252 courses) will also be conducted face-to-face starting from the 11th of next month. However, the schedule for face-to-face classes may change depending on the spread of COVID-19.
