HK Innoen Launches Blending Tea Brand 'Le Blend'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] HK Innoen, a subsidiary of Korea Kolmar (formerly CJ Healthcare), has launched a blending tea brand called 'Le Blend' and is set to reshape the RTD tea beverage market.
The RTD tea beverage market, which allows consumers to drink without separate preparation, has diversified and segmented its demand from merely resolving conflicts to health management purposes, growing to a scale of 330 billion KRW as of 2018.
Le Blend is a premium tea brand that harmonizes fruit and herbs using a brewing technique. Unlike other products that use herbal extract powders, Le Blend products apply a tea brewing method that steeps ingredients at the optimal temperature as they are. It was launched in two varieties: 'Le Blend Grapefruit Hibiscus' and 'Le Blend Peach Chamomile.'
Le Blend Grapefruit Hibiscus is a product that blends Egyptian hibiscus and grapefruit harmoniously, offering a refreshing taste. Le Blend Peach Chamomile combines Croatian chamomile and peach to provide both sweet flavor and aroma.
The outer packaging of the Grapefruit Hibiscus and Peach Chamomile products features the phrases “Rediscovered My Own Lightness” and “Calmness That Penetrates Within Me,” respectively, designed to attract consumers highly interested in body management and mental stability.
Le Blend Grapefruit Hibiscus and Peach Chamomile come in 500 milliliter bottles and are available nationwide at convenience stores, large discount marts, and major online shopping malls.
