Appointment of Lee Chae-hoon and Kim Hyun-soo as Directors of Kobaco
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] The Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (KOBACO) announced on the 20th that the Ministry of Economy and Finance has appointed Lee Chae-hoon, Policy Committee Member of the Korea PD Association, and Kim Hyun-soo, Adjunct Professor at Dongyang Mirae University, as non-standing directors. Their terms are for two years, until April 19, 2022.
Lee Chae-hoon, non-standing director of KOBACO, was born in Seoul in 1959 and graduated from Osan High School and Seoul National University with a degree in Philosophy. He worked as a PD at Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) from 1984 to 2012, served as an advisory member of the National Human Rights Commission in 2019, and is currently a policy committee member of the Korea PD Association and an advisory member of MBC Plus.

Kim Hyun-soo, non-standing director of KOBACO, was born in Seoul in 1960 and graduated from Inchang High School. He holds a master's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Yonsei University and a doctorate in Media Studies from Dongguk University. He has worked as a reporter for Hankook Ilbo, a manager at Daehong Planning, and an executive director at Skylife, and is currently serving as an adjunct professor at Dongyang Mirae University.
