Free Office Space for Young Entrepreneurs in Gangnam-gu... Gangnam Startup Center Tenant Recruitment
Free Office Space Provided to Over 20 Young Entrepreneurs Until May 8... No Charges for Electricity and Water Fees
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) is recruiting about 20 young entrepreneurs to move into the 'Gangnam Startup Center,' established to allow young people with new technologies and ideas to freely start businesses, until May 8.
Located on Yeoksam-ro, known as the 'Korean Silicon Valley,' the Gangnam Startup Center provides office space free of charge to resident companies for startups, and offers various programs such as mentoring and investor matching for up to two years to help early-stage startups overcome difficulties and grow.
In particular, to ease the burden on resident companies caused by COVID-19, the district has decided not to charge public utility fees such as electricity and water this year, making it virtually possible to start a business at 'zero cost.'
The recruitment target is young entrepreneurs aged 20 to 39 who reside in Gangnam-gu or have business registration there. Any entrepreneur who has been in business for seven years or less as of the announcement date and possesses excellent technology and business items can apply.
