Fire at Apartment in Mung-dong, Seoul... 22 Residents Evacuated in Commotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Eunbyeol] On the 18th, a fire broke out in an apartment in Muk-dong, Jungnang-gu, Seoul, resulting in an elderly man in his 80s being transported to the hospital and 22 apartment residents evacuating.
The fire started around 5:13 a.m. in the utility room on the first floor of the apartment. Although the fire occurred in the early morning, there were no other injuries or fatalities besides the man in his 80s who inhaled smoke.
The fire burned a kimchi refrigerator and household items and was completely extinguished around 5:29 a.m.
