20s BJ Who Assaulted Girlfriend and Disappeared... Sentencing Request for Imprisonment

On the 17th, the prosecution announced that at the sentencing hearing held at the Incheon District Court Criminal Division 10 (Judge Lee Seo-yoon), they requested a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months for internet BJ A (26), who was indicted on charges of assault.
A was arrested and indicted on charges of assaulting his 20-year-old girlfriend B at an officetel in Namdong-gu, Incheon, in June last year, causing injuries requiring 8 weeks of medical treatment to her face and other areas.
At the time, the police reportedly obtained an arrest warrant and tracked A after he failed to respond to summons.
A, who had been in hiding for six months, was apprehended at a movie theater in Seoul in December last year.
Earlier, A reportedly admitted all charges at the first trial held in January this year.
A is known to have a prior record of being indicted for violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., and was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a 2-year probation in the first trial.
At that time, A was tried for spreading insulting false information about his ex-girlfriend during an internet broadcast at his home in Seo-gu, Incheon, around 1 a.m. on November 19, 2017.
