On the 17th, Sangju City in Gyeongbuk announced that A (36, female, Sinbong-dong), who was tested due to symptoms of fever (37.6°C) and sore throat, tested positive for COVID-19. Although A tested negative in three tests conducted since the 13th, she was finally confirmed positive on this day.
A was diagnosed positive on February 24 and received treatment at Sangju Red Cross Hospital, then was discharged on the 4th of this month. After visiting her parents' home in Sangju on the 5th and 10th, no special movement routes were identified. All contacts, including A's parents, tested negative.
Earlier, A's two sons also tested positive again and were admitted to Sangju Red Cross Hospital on the 16th.
