About 60 volunteers made cotton masks in the large conference room of the Jangheung Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
The handmade cotton masks are scheduled to be distributed to 735 elderly customized care service recipients, 64 life support workers, and about 200 social contribution donation bank care activity recipients.
The masks were made possible through the voluntary talent donation participation of life support workers affiliated with the welfare center and female students of the welfare center’s program sewing machine class for employment and entrepreneurship.
The volunteers strictly maintained personal hygiene by wearing masks and disinfecting their hands while making the cotton masks.
Life support workers took charge of designing, cutting, and ironing volunteer work, while sewing machine class students demonstrated the sewing skills they had learned so far.
