The council established the Budget and Accounts Special Specialist Office last January to strengthen the expertise in budget review, and this time appointed Park, an expert in budget and financial analysis, expecting that it will greatly assist the council's budget committee members in their legislative activities.

Park began his public service career in 1982 and is regarded as a practical expert who has served as the province's Public Relations Planning Officer, Job Creation Officer, and Women and Family Policy Officer. His term lasts until April 2022.
