View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Min Hong-cheol, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Gimhae Gap, won the rematch against Hong Tae-yong of the United Future Party, reaching his third victory.
In the 21st National Assembly election held on the 15th, candidate Min secured 49.9% of the votes, defeating candidate Hong who received 45.1%.
Min, the elected candidate, said, "Thank you for giving me the precious opportunity to work hard to build a greater Gimhae," and added, "As a powerful ruling party three-term lawmaker, I will prepare to implement the plans I have prepared and open a new era of a vibrant Gimhae."
