Five COVID-19 Patients with Underlying Conditions in Daegu Die... Total Deaths Reach 154 (Update)

According to health authorities on the 15th, a 93-year-old man receiving COVID-19 treatment at Daegu Medical Center died that morning. He had been hospitalized at Siji Nursing Hospital since February 2018 and tested positive for COVID-19 during a hospital-wide screening on the 8th.
He was known to have underlying conditions such as chronic kidney disease, cerebral infarction, and ischemic cardiomyopathy.
Also, at Yeungnam University Hospital, an 88-year-old man who had been hospitalized since early last month due to COVID-19 symptoms passed away. His underlying conditions included heart failure, anemia, and hypertension.
At the same hospital, an 82-year-old man also died. He had been receiving treatment at Hansarang Nursing Hospital since 2016 and suffered from diabetes, hypertension, and dementia. He was diagnosed positive during a hospital-wide screening last month and was transferred to Yeungnam University Hospital.
Furthermore, a 77-year-old man who had been hospitalized and treated for schizophrenia since 2017 at the Second Miju Hospital also died.
The previous day, a 76-year-old woman died at Daegu Catholic University Hospital. She had complained of a sore throat on February 22, tested positive on the 29th, and had been receiving inpatient treatment since March 2. She had asthma as an underlying condition.
