[21st General Election] Business Community Urges "National Assembly to Exhibit Central Leadership for Economic Recovery"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] The Korea Employers Federation (KEF) urged, "We expect the 21st National Assembly to navigate the complex economic crisis triggered by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and to demonstrate its role and leadership as a focal point for economic revitalization."
In a statement released on the 15th, the day of the 21st National Assembly general election, KEF said, "We believe the election results reflect the public's strong desire for livelihood and economic recovery."

KEF added, "In particular, we ask that an environment be created where companies can overcome the current crisis, achieve sound economic development, and generate more jobs," and further requested, "We also urge the formulation of policies and legislative activities from a rational perspective aimed at enhancing national competitiveness."
