Gangnam-gu Provides Additional 10 Masks Each to Pregnant Women
Visit the Public Health Center Maternal and Child Health Room with ID and Required Documents
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) has been distributing an additional 10 masks per person to pregnant women, a high-risk group for COVID-19, starting from the 13th, following last month.
The eligible recipients are pregnant women registered at the health center who reside in Gangnam-gu according to their resident registration. They should bring their ID and visit the Maternal and Child Health Room on the first floor of the Gangnam-gu Health Center.
Unregistered pregnant women can receive 20 masks by submitting proof documents such as a pregnancy confirmation certificate or maternal and child health handbook.
The total number of masks secured by the district is 14,000, and distribution will continue until supplies run out. Proxy receipt is allowed, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Health Promotion Division of the health center (☎3423-7222, 7225).
Previously, the district also provided 10 masks each free of charge to about 1,000 pregnant women last month.
