Gwangju Buk-gu Calls for Applications for Support Projects for Preliminary, New, Re-designated, and Advanced Village Enterprises
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting village enterprises to participate in the ‘2020 Preliminary, New, Re-designated, and Advanced Village Enterprise’ support project until the 21st.
The village enterprise support project was prepared to foster grassroots village enterprises that create jobs and income through resident-led profit-making businesses.
This recruitment is conducted in four categories: preliminary, new, re-designated, and advanced, selecting a total of about 12 village enterprises, including 5 preliminary, 1 new, 4 re-designated, and 2 advanced.
Eligibility includes villages or organizations with participation of five or more people, new village enterprises, village enterprises that have become self-reliant and are operating after the first-year (new) project ends, and village enterprises that have become self-reliant and are operating after the second-year (re-designated) project ends.
The enterprise selection will be finalized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in June after screening by Gwangju City, and selected enterprises will be supported with funds necessary for business operations such as labor costs, rental fees, product development costs, and marketing costs within the limits of 10 million KRW for preliminary, 50 million KRW for new, 30 million KRW for re-designated, and 20 million KRW for advanced.
