Hyosung to Make Eco-Friendly Bags from Samdasoo PET Bottles
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hyosung TNC's eco-friendly fiber brand 'Regen' has joined hands with the Ministry of Environment, Jeju Development Corporation, and others to expand the eco-friendly market base by producing products recycled from PET bottles.
On the 14th, Hyosung TNC announced that on the 13th, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the eco-friendly project 'Return for Rebirth' with the Ministry of Environment, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju Development Corporation, and Pleats Mama.
'Return for Rebirth' is a project aimed at establishing a resource circulation system in the Jeju region.
Jeju Development Corporation collects PET bottles discarded in Jeju, and Hyosung TNC, which has secured recycled fiber manufacturing technology, produces recycled fibers using chips recycled from PET bottles.
