The progressive civic group, the Capital Market Watchdog Center, filed a complaint with the Supreme Prosecutors' Office on the 13th, accusing former Secretary Choi of forgery of private documents through impersonation and bribery, and former Director Hwang of violating election laws (spreading false information), respectively.
In the complaint, the Capital Market Watchdog Center claimed that former Secretary Choi falsely issued an internship certificate from the law firm he belonged to for the purpose of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk's son's graduate school admission, and as compensation for this, he was appointed as Secretary for Public Office Discipline while Cho served as Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs.
