On the 13th, IU appeared as a guest on KBS CoolFM's 'Jung Eunji's Gayo Plaza' in the 'Meeting Plaza' segment and had a conversation.
That day, Jung Eunji introduced IU by saying, "A precious friend born in 1993, the same age as me. Because of this person today, the corners of my mouth have lifted."
Regarding her song "Blooming," released last November, IU said, "Actually, it's a spring song. It tends to have been released a bit early. It's a song that was pre-planned. If you sing it now, it's just perfect."
When asked, "What have you been doing recently?" she replied, "These days, I'm writing lyrics for songs that I won't use but can give to others. This year's motto is 'lightly, joyfully, and a lot.' It's a season where I want to do a lot of external work besides my own album."
IU, who revealed that she is obsessive about one thing at a time, said, "There aren't many things around me. Whether it's content, objects, or people, when one comes along, I keep it for a long time. I don't have many interests, and once I make a friend, it lasts a long time."
When asked what makes her happiest these days, IU said, "I'm watching 'La Casa de Papel' on Netflix. I'm really watching it intensely," and added, "Because of social distancing, I mostly have meals at home. Since I don't have much physical activity, I gain weight quickly. So I bought a treadmill and run for an hour every day at home."

When Jung Eunji asked about her ideal type as the last question, IU said, "That's a really difficult question. It's been a while since I've been asked about my ideal type," and added, "I like people who seem like they will live long and are healthy," which brought laughter.
